February Snow Moon

For your journal: How have you grown this past year? 5 years? 10 years? What challenges have you overcome? What education have you attempted? Have you learned a new skill or changed a perspective? Notes: February 2022 is a Black Moon Month

A Black Moon is a modern phrase similar to Blue Moon. But, it is a month that has two new moons rather than two full moons. However, it is not an astronomical phrase. Since February is short (28-29 days) two different moon events can occur: either no new moon where January and March will each have two, or no full moon where January and March will each have two. Both situations make February a Black Moon Month.

A Black Moon signifies success and good luck.

This year, February is a Black Moon Month since there is no New Moon this month. A Black Moon Month only occurs about every 19 years.
