Service Description

Creativity leads to finding a voice. Bring forth the creativity! This is available in person and on zoom. Bring a pen and journal and your desire to write. Let's get in touch with ourselves and find our voice! We want you to engage your entire body here at BBS, and by writing, you get your mind working, too! There are different types of writing: free writing (working from a prompt), gratitude journaling, and list-making. If you're interested in becoming more observant, more organized, more goal-oriented, more self-aware, and a better communicator, writing will help you achieve these goals. We'll work from spiritual prompts and oracle decks, to literary promts and poetry. The only requirement would be a commitment from you to show up and write something. Reading your work is encouraged but not required - you should feel comfortable with your words and there is no judgement. Why would you want to work with me? I've been in a journaling weekly workshop with author Paulette Rees-Denis since October 2021 and am in the process of writing a children's book, organizing my poems into a book, and I hope to be published this year. I am currently the blog writer here at BBS and have written and won the National Novel Writing Month challenge four times (NaNoWriMo.org) - though I have yet to be a published author.
