Burlesque Dance

Service Description

Ages 18 and up please. Beginners to intermediate level dancers. We'll work on the basic burlesque moves as well as learning choreography. The studio floor is soft, so heels may be troublesome but you are welcome to try. Feel free to dress to your comfort level, as sexy as you want! Props are used occasionally, such as canes, whips, crops, elbow-length gloves, and boas. There are some to borrow until you can get your own. If you are joining on zoom and don't have the space, I will help you modify the dance if desired. Performing is NOT required. If you are interested, you can discuss your interest in joining the troupe Reines des Baisers (pronounced REN day baysay - meaning Queens of Kisses). We are looking for new dancers! If you would like to join our troupe, you'll be asked to demonstrate your ability to perform at least one of our choreographies with us.
